After attending Charleston Southern University and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Patrice understood the importance of supporting and building up individuals and their families in her community. She returned to school and received a Master's degree in Counseling from Webster University. Patrice is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina (License # 7061) and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor Candidate.

Patrice has an extensive history of providing therapy for adults, children, and families in a variety of settings. Over her years in practice, she has worked within Drug and Alcohol facilities, the Department of Juvenile Justice, in-home therapy with foster families, and in private practice.

She is a board member for the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors, and Psycho-Educational Specialists. She also serves on the board as the Mental Health Representative for The Boon Project a local non-profit for young adults fighting cancer. She is also a Certified Child & Adolescent Grief Counseling Specialist.

Patrice believes that you don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. Each person is as unique as the issue they present before her; therefore she does not believe in a cookie-cutter approach to therapy.
